HOW TO MAKE A SIMPLE EASTER CARD.

As promised, here is a how make a simple Easter card.

You will need:

1. Three A6 card size - 4 1/2" x 6 1/4" papers (In this case 2White and 1Brown). Card stock or embossed will do.
2. Pair of paper shapers or patterned scissors.
3. Glue
4. Needle and brown cotton thread
5. Colored pencils.
6. Pencil and ruler.

Step 1.
Take one of the two white papers, fold it accurately in half.

Step 2.

Take the brown paper, Fold it accurately in to four parts. Using the  paper shapers, cut along the folded lines.

Step 3.
Paste the brown cut-out on the front of the folded white card.

Step 4.
With the remaining white paper, take your colored pencils and randomly color it on one side (if you're using embossed paper, the more textured side would be great to color). Combine as many colors as you want.

Step 5.
Now fold the colored paper as you did the brown one in Step 2., cut it along the fold lines. This time cut more from it making sure it's smaller than the brown one.

Step 6.
With your ruler and pencil, mark out a cross as shown below on your now cut out colored paper. Thread your needle and as shown, make holes on the paper. Sew as shown below:

Step 7.
Paste your now sewn paper on the card. Using a brown colored pencil, mark out the ground beneath the cross.

Now you have a beautiful Easter card you can easily make at home and you can teach your kids how to make it too. It's simple and fun!

Remember, you can combine as many different colors of paper as you wish.
You can also use water paints as a substitute for the colored pencils
